Marie Rommel is the Director of Medical Records at a 45 bed in-patient Acute Care Psych Hospital located in Berkeley Heights, NJ.  She also is the CEO/ owner of Health Information Specialists, a private consulting firm specializing in Long Term/Sub-Acute, In-Patient Psych, Assisted Living  and both Adult Medical Day Care Facilities as well as DDD Day Habilitation Programs in NJ. Marie also frequently does Public Speaking as well as Educational Sessions on such topics as:

•             Long Term Care and the Medical Record Department,

•             Medical Records in the Adult Medical Day Care Environment,

•             Documentation Standards and Regulatory Requirements and how to submit a Plan of Correction upon completing Federal/State Inspections/Surveys,

•             Various other topics pertaining to the Health Information Department in assorted Health Care Environments.
